CONTAMLINKS

Contamlinks is a dedicated portal for UK focused contaminated land resources since the introduction of the Contaminated Land Regulations in 2000.

It is privately owned and mantained by STEVE MOREBY, an experienced Local Government Contaminated Land Officer, who is also involved with a number a national organisations..

Contaminks is regularly updated, entirely free to use, requires no log-in and attracts a large number of visitors from all parts of the contaminated land community: developers & builders, Local Authorities, industrial landowners, consultants & contractors, solicitors & underwriters, students and academics and, of course, the general public.

Advertising on Contamlinks is an extremely cost effective way of accessing an audience of individuals and organisations actively seeking contaminated land information and services in the UK.

DEVELOPMENT

Contamlinks has expanded in recent years, and now provides an internet search tool (powered by Google), a YouTube video channel and an Amazon book store. Further development of the site reains ongoing.

Contamlinks consistently achieves strong search rankings across several key terms, including 'contaminated land', 'contaminated land jobs' and 'contaminated land information'.

The Site's visibility and search strategy remains targetted to Google, but increasingly considers other search providers.

Banner sponsorship is currently available for up to five logos simultaniously, and currently offered at:
£300 for a 6 month period,
or £500 for 12 months.

Relevant vacancies can be advertised on the appropriate page for:
£25 per vacancy, for one month display.

Relevant training courses and events can be advertised on the appropriate page for:
£25 per event, for one month display.

ETHICAL BUSINESS

Income derived from these sources is used to host the site and keep it maintained. Contamlinks tries to opperate as an ethical enterprise, and will therefore donate 10% of all profit from advertising etc during 2010/2011 to Oxfam and Water Aid (50/50%). Further details are available upon request.

Banner sponsorship can be accepted in either GIF, PNG or JPEG format, with maximum dimensions 200x100 pixels. Dynamic graphic banners may also be accepted subject to agreement. Cursor rollover text may be provided upon request.
